The Lizard People
Heavy Rock|Punk Ethos
The Lizard People are the saviours to Canadian hard rock music. With a gritty rock sound that pulls from influences such as Queens of the Stone Age, Iggy Pop, Quicksand and The Band, TLP has been dealing their own concoction of alternative rock to listeners since 2022. A literal band of brothers (Pat Conlin-drums) and (Phil Conlin- guitar and vocals) with the addition of Jesse Guite (bass) bring the energy of an outlaw gang of musicians ready to unload a sonic assault on listeners with every performance.
The Lizard People have played shows at clubs and events across Southwestern Ontario, including the Acton Fall Fair, The Horseshoe Tavern, The Atria, Palasad Social Bowm, Jimmy Jazz, and the Casbah (to name a few venues), and have shared the stage with Dopamine Dream, Apricity, Red Output and White Rabbit, along with many other bands and artists.
The Lizard People have released 4 singles to date and have plans to release an LP in 2025.
